19th Century French walnut and Kingwood Bureau De Dame, the rectangular top decorated with, carved ormolu moulding below on the top and bottom of the frieze, the bureau fall opening to reveal a green baize writing surface, lovely fitted interior which includes small drawers with carved brass handles, below the bureau fall is a single frieze drawer with a shaped apron, the sides and front of the piece profusely inlaid with exotic woods, a lovely feature is that there is fine brass inlay on the outside of each wood inlay, carved ormolu moulding on the sides and on the bureau fall, standing on elegant shaped legs with further inlay and ormolu. A truly wonderful piece of furniture that is in excellent condition. Circa 1860.
